Energy Engineer

Location:

Limerick - Office Based

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 7 Degree in Energy Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Building services etc.)
  • Minimum of +2 years’ experience in the Building Services/Sustainable Energy Industry, preferably in healthcare, education, and commercial office sectors.
  • Working knowledge of Design builder/IESVE tool (Integrated Environmental Solutions) to include energy consumption calculations, ModelIT, ApacheSim, CIBSE Loads, MacroFlo and Radiance IES
  • SEAI Assessor a distinct advantage
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and ability to work on own initiative.

Preference will be given to candidates fulfilling the above requirements and who can demonstrate a working experience within the relevant field.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Location:

Limerick - Office Based

Requirements:

  • Hons degree (level 8) or equivalent with minimum 8 -10 years' relevant experience in an M&E Consultancy Role
  • Chartered Engineer - CEng with minimum 5 years' post Chartered experience or working towards achieving Chartered status.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and self-starting ability with the aptitude to take ownership of projects as required and see them through to completion.
  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical Engineering Services and Design
  • Excellent technical report writing & communications skills essential.
  • Broad understanding of RIAI & GCC forms of contract
  • Revit / AutoCAD simulation proficiency would be advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of proprietary modelling software (e.g., Dialux, Amtech, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Engineering Design and Design Management tasks on a variety of projects (Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Education, Healthcare, Custodial, Housing, Heritage, Sports & Leisure, etc.)
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary project team to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Design and specification of Mechanical Engineering Solutions to current regulations and design standards.
  • Develop and agree Design processes and Design deliverables.
  • Management of Junior Staff Members
  • Execute / Manage the preparation of design drawings and schematics for all building services systems.
  • Attend and contribute at project design team meetings.
  • Prepare budget cost estimates for project designs.
  • Manage the tender issue process, execute tender reviews, and publish tender report.
  • Execute surveys and prepare reports on engineering systems.
  • Participate in project site visits to monitor, review and sign-off engineering installations.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location:

Limerick - Office Based

Requirements:

  • Hons degree (level 8) or equivalent with minimum 8 -10 years' relevant experience in a mechanical services design role. Good knowledge of electrical services would also be advantageous.
  • Chartered Status would be a distinct advantage.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and self-starting ability with the aptitude to take ownership of projects as required and see them through to completion.
  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering Services and Design
  • Excellent technical report writing & communications skills essential.
  • Excellent Knowledge of design guides, building regulations and various relevant BS, IS and EN Standards
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
