HAWTHORN HOUSE, PLASSEY - LEED GOLD CERTIFICATION CONFIRMATION

We are very pleased to receive confirmation that Hawthorn House Office Building at Plassey Technology Park has received LEED Gold Certification.  The provision of both light pollution reduction in the site lighting design and rain water harvesting for toilet flushing water proved to be crucial in achieving LEED Gold certification. Other elements of the mechanical and electrical services design included ventilation equipment with low specific fan power ratings, automatic lighting controls, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, energy metering, solar photovoltaic panels and electric car charging stations.
